Palazzo Fever

Such a beautiful trend from the 70’s, but the palazzo pants actually made his mark to the big screen in the 40’s. The biggest stars such as Katharine Hepburn, wore it with elegance and grace. But, more than twenty years later, in the 60’s, woman were refused of entry in most of the fancy restaurants if they were wearing pants. They decided to rebel against this injustice and started wearing Palazzo pants. They were creating the illusion of an elegant skirt! Nowadays, they are indispensable for every season and they express femininity in all shapes and forms. Despite the super-wide-leg, they are extremely flattering. They elongate the legs, create the illusion of a slender silhouette and make the waist look teeny-tiny. You can obviously wear them with a slim-fitting top, to accentuate your curves, but I personally prefer the effortless look of a more relaxed and over-sized shirt. Do not comply with any of the fashion ‘rules’. Whatever they may be! Give free rein to your creativity and most of all; don’t be afraid to be spontaneous with your choices!
